Yes, Maicasa is free to download and use. A premium subscription with additional features is planned — you'll always be notified before any charges apply.
No account is required to get started. Your tasks are saved to your device. Account-based sync (to share tasks across devices or with a household) is on the roadmap.
AI features require an active internet connection. Check your mobile data or Wi-Fi, then close and reopen the app. If the issue persists, email us at info@maisoftware.app.
Tap the AI tab and use the document upload button to select your PDF. Maicasa will read the report and automatically generate a prioritised task list from the findings.
Yes. Maicasa works anywhere in the world. The AI assistant understands local trade terminology, provides context-appropriate guidance, and the task management features work universally.
Yes. Maicasa works for homeowners, landlords, and tenants. Property manager features with multi-property portfolio management are in development.
Maicasa stores your task list and property details. Photos or documents sent to the AI chat are processed by Anthropic's Claude API and are not stored by Maicasa. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data. Email info@maisoftware.app to request deletion of any data held on our servers — we'll respond within 30 days.
Common fixes
App crashes on launch
Force-close and reopen. If it persists, delete and reinstall — your tasks sync from the cloud.
Tasks not saving
Check your internet connection. Maicasa syncs to a cloud database and requires a connection to save.
Voice input not working
Go to Settings → Maicasa → Microphone and ensure access is allowed. Works best in quiet environments.
Photo not recognised
Ensure the photo is clear and well-lit. Very large files may time out — try a lower-resolution version.
